The seller did offer to refund them, but only after doing so is now demanding that I mail all 200 used/defective/discarded masks back to them. =/ As such, I can't recommend this seller/brand.

Do you recall the brand of the masks you received on that deal? I bought 2 boxes as well and haven't noticed the weak or broken ear loops. I'm wondering if they were shipping multiple brands/batches.

I had the exact same issue. They didn't make me send back the masks though. Wouldn't recommend!

Edit: i legit bought from this seller a few weeks ago. Shipping was good. NEWEGG SHIPPING WAS NOT. This was my replacement for the newegg masks that took like 3 weeks to show up.

Since they already issued a refund, you don't have to ship them anyting. If you feel like sending them back, insist that they send you a prepaid shipping label, since the product was defective.
If a seller ever insists on a defective product being shipped back before they'll issue a refund, always insist on them sending a prepaid shipping label, since the return is their fault, not yours.
