Good luck anyone trying to snag one. Most of the stores would be out of the stock or the employees will keep for themselves.

Supposedly 2-3 near me. Don't know if it's worth checking for this price. Any advice if this is a mildly hot or extremely hot deal?

Pretty good deal if you can snag one. It's very rare to find a 1660 Ti laptop under $1000, and with an i7 no less. 1660 Ti Mobile is almost as good as a desktop 1660 Super, and with this combination of CPU and RAM you're basically set for 1080p gaming for the next few years. Just don't forget to upgrade the storage

The only issue I see is hard drive size is small.
I have had a similar one for 2 years (i5, 1050 GTX, 8gb RAM) I got from Walmart for $480 clearance. It is a good computer and easy to work on. Mine came with a 1TB 7200 drive and I added a M.2 256gb drive. I am running both so I will assume you could a a 3.5" drive. Mine flies, boots in less than 5 seconds after BIOS.

It does run a bit hot, but I think all gaming laptops do. This this config you could run any game I high 1080p.

For $800, you are getting a good a very good deal.

Someone bought two right in front of me. I had gotten this deal alert but didn't care about it. So, I had no clue my Walmart even had them. Good thing I didn't need one, or I would've been pissed to be too late by half a step to the register. EEK! LMAO

Or worse you would have gotten one when you didn't need one.

I find a mix with Walmart. At $800+ a lot of employees don't care or notice, a lot but not all.

I actually tried to get one of these 3 weeks ago to no avail. Workers said they haven't got a shipment of them from China in months. Coronavirus man.

Ah, I shouldn't have bought a used Razer. It's nice and works well, but I would have saved just a little. I see one store not super far has 2-3 in stock...
