I've been meaning to read Leviathan Wakes for a while now. Thanks!
The expanse is the best scifi series I've ever read. If you enjoy the show, you'll really enjoy the books.

Yikes thanks for this. Made me check my no rush shipping credits and found out they all expire at the end of this month. Now I have something to spend them on!

Didn't even know the expanse originated in book form. Just finished season 4.

Picked up the expanse, thanks - repped.

Heads up for those considering the return of the king... Several months ago I picked up the Lord of the Rings One Volume (all three books) for 2.99. Well worth three bucks but the whole series regularly goes on sale for the same price. Might be good to wait if this is going in the book backlog.

Ready your wallet to buy the rest of the books afterwards. You can also check your local library for printed and audiobook versions.

And override/libby tend to have electronic copies of all the expanse books too, if you prefer that. Mine even has the novella but there can be long waits for those because I think more people want them (possibly only published in electronic format?).

The Expanse series is one of my all-time favorites. I can't wait for the final book to be released later this year. It's very entertaining and so smart. I walked away from every book feeling like I learned something. The audio books are great too. Jeffery May's narrative makes them come alive.

Another recommendation for the Expanse. One of the better scifi series out there, a good balance between action/suspense and depth. Too often I'll find a book is lacking on one side of that coin, and this is not the best series out there... but well worth trying the first book at this price to see if you want to invest the time in the remainder of the story. And if you like the TV series, the books are better.

The Expanse series is pretty good (books were better than the amazon series), but try Peter F. Hamilton as well if you want large scale, involved SciFi. Start with 1) Pandora's Star and then 2) Judas Unchained, in either audio or actual books; there are lots more after these two...

First half of Leviathan Wakes is kind of slow. Some parts of all the books have some slow points. That said, I'm about to finish the 8th book.
