Beyond the questionable history of this brand and if it is not just a small company marketing generic Chinese-made products (think Amazon has all of them), what made this deal better than All-Clad made in USA 7 piece deal that was posted here?

My main problem with the All Clad brand is their handles. They're so uncomfortable that they're not enjoyable to cook with. After using some All Clad I ended up getting a cheap set of Calphalon stainless from this deal and they've been awesome.

Dont have it, but I heard it requires a bit of seasoning to be nonstick. And it can be scratched. I have seen these hexclad with scratches. Best to just buy stainless and learn how to use it properly. All nonstick coating will scratch eventually

I have a complete set and have had it for about a year. It works okay, but I don't love it.
It is a hybrid between stainless pan and a non stick pan. The non stick part is pretty terrible. Everything sticks even after seasoning them multiple times.
I've had cheap T fal pans that didn't require any seasoning. This costs a lot more, but everything still sticks.

I would say it's more of a convenient version of stainless pan. It cooks like a stainless pan and it is easy to clean.

I have the pans, not these pots. And they are amazing. If you are getting things that stick to these badly or often, you are cooking too high of heat. I do everything from eggs to vegan meats to veggies and potatoes in the pans and they are the best cookware I've ever used. All with only about a tablespoon of oil.

I'm sure there are things that straight stainless steel does better but these have been such an awesome set of hybrid pans that I never reach for my other (more expensive) cookware anymore. These are also super easy to clean.
