You should give it a spin. This is back when bands played actual instruments
Doesn't matter what type of music you listen to, Pink Floyd transcends across all genres of music. This is a classic and that's coming from a hiphop head.
Hopefully this isn't like most (all?) of the 'remasters', where they basically compress the dynamic range as much as possible to make the whole album sound louder at the expense of having any dynamic range at all. Pink Floyd is definitely an artist where dynamic range is necessary for the music.

I made the mistake once of buying Dire Straits, Brothers in Arms, remastered. They took out all of the dynamic range so that it was just one continuous wall of sound at somewhere around a continuous 0db's.

Come to WA no card required.

Seems like one step forward and one step back: remaster then release on vinyl.

Yea, beware of this album. Read a review for it and someone noticed this is not the James Guthrie remaster from 2011. This the Sony remaster and quality is worse.
