Considering these for my desk. Purchasing a mini amp to run these from my laptop using a 3.5mm splitter. Main use is streaming music while I work, or watching videos. Perhaps playing a game or two but this one is more rare.

Ah hell I bit. Amazon has plenty of reviews doing similar/same thing I'm looking to do. I'm in.
I'm building a home theater and was about to bit the RP bundle. But I already own a receiver and reached out to Adorama about it, they said its not possible. Glad I waited, bough 2 pairs of these and Sub from Costco. Now waiting for some good towers and Center.
These are not audiophile grade speakers. You wish to be be part of the elite "audiophile" community by spending mere 89$? Dream on
An audiophile is anyone who enjoys well-reproduced music, and so these qualify. What you're thinking of are "audio snobs", and in that world this amount of money doesn't even buy a decent interconnect.

Lol, gotta love audio snobs and their $1500 speaker cables!
I actually picked up 2 pairs last time they had this sale. 1 pair for my rear channel and 1 pair wired in parallel acting as a center channel. They sound great with R-820F's in the front. The floor standing speakers are part of Klipsch's Christmas in July Sale.

I you don't mind sharing can you point to any guides on how to do this ( hooking these up with a Laptop)? Sorry I'm still a newbie when it comes to these things

Anything is better than laptop speakers :-). For $90 for these speakers I think would be fine unless willing to give the Dayton Audio B652-Air a chance (incidentally, currently out of stock).
For comparison, I used to run a set of the old Klipsch RB-51 II speakers in a similar configuration via an APPJ Miniwatt my kids gave me. It was good enough for office work. I'm currently running the same amp using a cast-off Schiit Modi 2 DAC and a pair of rebuilt KG1 speakers that I did an A/B against the RB-51 and came out on top, likely due to the sealed design and larger woofer. But either would be fine, in all honesty. Heck, the speakers linked in this post would be fine. Why?
Because when I'm working at my desk, I'm not listening critically. I'm streaming low-bit rate Pandora. I'm driving them with a $100 tube amp that all I did was replace the tubes and an old DAC. I've got the good gear upstairs for when I want to listen critically. Down here, in the basement? I'd proudly rock the speakers indicated in this post if I didn't already have speakers.
Incidentally, the R-12SW Subwoofer at Costco is no slouch. While I much prefer the subs I have upstairs, I picked one up a few weeks ago in the Klipsch scratch and dent sale. I wouldn't pay the MSRP of $499 for it, and would hesitate to pay the $249 normal Costco price, but if needing a sub it is a reasonable value at $180 or whatever Costco has it for.
I'm looking to replace the surrounds in my 5.1.2 setup, currently using JBL Loft 30 bookshelf speakers.
Fronts are currently pioneer fs52 and matching center, with Klipsch rp-140sa imbetween. Living room is pretty small, guessing 12x12'.
I picked up the klipsch rp-140sa atmos speakers recently and am looking to transition into Klipsch in the long term. Will either the r41 or r51 be better companions to the rp-140sa, and is is r51 overkill for a surround in a small space?

r41-m for $90 or r-51m for $140?
Thanks
It has been advised that if you go RP series, try to stay with the RP series. Since your atmos are RPs, and if in the future you want to buy fronts and center in RPs as well, I suggest dont buy these. Now if you really dont care about sound signature and have different brands mixed in, I guess go ahead with these.
