If you are using a Windows machine, I learned this neat little trick. Press the windows key + a directional arrow. Windows will move the active window to that side of the desktop. Then you can press Windows key + up/down and it will split the active window again to either the top or bottom. So you can do 4 equally split screens w/o additional software. My work computer does not allow 3rd party software to be installed so this is what I use to split my screen.
This is a nice TV. You have to make tweaks to the settings to correct the picture like every other set, but once that is done it has a really nice picture.
Bought this a few months ago and use it as my primary work from home monitor. I was very skeptical about using a TV as a monitor as I am picky about pixel density and resolution, but once you have it setup correctly with 4:4:4 and making sure the input is set to PC, the clarity is just as good as dell ultrasharps or any other monitor I have used. It replaced a Dell u3014 and an LG 34" ultrawide and do not have any regrets. The edges are as a previous poster has said, but it doesnt bother me at all. I definitely recommend it at this price.

Will this make for a good monitor?

TLDR version - probably, depending on your graphics card & the TVs specs/config options.

Video card should be able to output to HDMI 2.0 & support "4K at 60Hz, with 24-bit color."

TV - Can signal processing be disabled (i.e. 'gamer mode' on some TVs)? Can 'overscan' be disabled (it discards ~5% of the signal)? Can TV support 4:4:4 chroma subsampling (if not, text could be fuzzy)?

Yes I've been using it as a monitor since May.
The only thing I don't like is the gap between the backlight and the screen at the edges. When sitting center and about 3 ft away this means that about millimeter of the screen at the edges is not visible unless you move your head towards the edge.

Post from previous deal thread depicting this issue: https://slickdeals.net/f/13983608-lg-43um7300-43-inch-4k-uhd-tv-239?p=136715126#post136715126

Other than that, I haven't had any issues using it as a monitor. I do not regret my purchase.

In looking for the TVs specs, I ran across the 4-screen option if you download LG's software: https://www.lg.com/us/support/hel...1921251016

Don't know how 'good' it will look but I'd hope LG would test it out some.

I did end up calling mine earlier and they have several in stock. But then I realized my Costco expired a bit ago
