It looks like only $50, so not a great deal from the normal price, but the specs look good.
My warning is really that I purchased a simiarly spec'd MSI before and had it experiencing power issues within a month. The repairs took a month, and lasted only a few weeks past the warranty.
I've read good reviews with the MSI (check out the other GL65 thread) but purely personal, I'd go with Costco because the 4 year warranty you get with it.
**4 year warranty is 2 year manufacturer warranty + 2 year extension if purchased with the Citi Costco card**

Is it really 4 years ? Is it with Costco? Is it written anywhere

4 years if you use their anywhere Citibank visa for the purchase.
Otherwise it's 2 years after manufacturers warranty:
According to this site it is but after reading the article overall performance when compared to other laptops makes me want to choose something else. Like MSI RAIDER

Hmm. in my family we have both the 17" MSI Raider 2060 and the 17" HP Omen 2070 (we had not upgraded gaming machines in 5 years, so it was time). Like you, I would trust PC World more than others, but the PC world review seems to differ significantly than all other reviews. I think there was something wrong with the PC World review machine. Check out these reviews on the HP Omen:
Based on those reviews, the takeaway is that the HP Omen is a decent machine for the price, with poor battery life. Maybe a crappy battery is how HP got the prices lower for a 2070 graphics card machine?
The Costco MSI Raider was a killer deal at $1200, so I had to pull the trigger. The HP Omen at $1500 was a "fair/normal" deal - however, Newegg's warranty/return policy is pretty much 14 days and then you are done. Sure with the code, Newegg is $1449, but to get the same warranty as costco, you have to plunk another $200 for Squaretrade to get the same two-year coverage at Costco.
Mini review: Playing SW KOTOR (which is a relatively old game) on both machines I noticed
The capabilities of the two machines are the same despite the 2060 vs 2070 video card. Playing the same game, I do notice that the MSI fans are loud compared to the HP. Sometimes the MSI reminds me of a hair dryer. Many of the reviews complain about the lack of keyboard light configuration - Personally I think the MSI blinky keyboard is hilariously excessive with the keys pulsing in rainbow explosions - the HP zone system is fine and a bit more conservative.
The HP omen is wider, they have these extra function keys on the left side that you can program.
have cheaper model with 1660TI MSI GL75 Leopard . Can't find usb-c to hdmi adapter to run 2 monitors ( one from hdmi port, 2nd from usb-c to hdmi converter) . none of my usb-c 2 hdmi converters are working. anybody knows model of working one?

What is the screen spec for the HP Omen 17 at Costco? Is it 144hz 3ms like the MSI?
