When closed, the durable wood-look plastic deck box keeps contents safe, dry and ventilated while it doubles as a table, a work space, or a seating spot large enough for two adults. With a spacious interior, you'll have plenty of room for storing even large and cumbersome objects like cushion, pool floats and equipment, outdoor tools and more. Designed for superior durability and weather-resistance, this box won't rust, peel or dent. Constructed from polypropylene resin, a nontoxic, recyclable plastic material, it has less negative impact on the environment. Easy to assemble. ~ persian_mafia

Got this about a month ago. The lid started bowing up within days of being outside. I noticed the manufacturer responding to reviews by asking them to reach out. I contacted them and haven't heard anything in over a week. Trash company.

HOWEVER, the thing is actually pretty sturdy and a great value outside of the bowing. If you're not worried about snow or crazy rainstorms where you live, I don't think it's much of a problem. I can only see rain getting in if it's some crazy sideways rain.

If I had to do it again, I'd probably just pay a bit more for a better box, but even with the bowing it's fine for my purposes living in a desert town.

UPDATE: Inspired by this SlickDeals post, I tried calling the company this morning and actually got through pretty quickly. They said they would send me an "improved" lid free of charge. 3-4 weeks for shipping. Fingers crossed!

bought one of these last week, but didn't get around to assembling it, then noticed the price drop. Brought receipt back to Sam's and they wouldn't price adjust. So i had to go get it, bring it back, return it, then buy it back.

shit like that is why I always shop at Costco, don't think I'll renew my sam's membership next year

Lifetime warranty 10 years > Suncast Warranty. That's what it says on the box from costco deal for $99 at warehouse

I have two. An outdoor one subject to 20F to 100F in the shade, no issues at all. Its a toy box for bats, balls, etc takes a beating and has held up 2 years

Im one of those reviews, I bought this earlier this summer, in the northeastern US so not crazy hot, warped within 2 weeks, looks cheap.

Although, to be honest it is huge, especially for the price, and support is at least receptive. I may buy another to put under my deck to store chemicals and other yard stuff, doesnt need to be water tight or look pretty but would look worlds better than it just sitting out.

That lid is a lemon, huh? Wanted it, but we have 100 degree weather. Doesn't seem to be up to the task.

I bought on of these in February. I live in Arizona. By mid March the lid was bulging up and it had huge gaps. The plastic is too thin and succumbs to the heat and pressure of the lid springs. Fast forward to late June after several emails and follow-ups after no response I got a new lid and springs sent. Bad news wrong size lid. 2 weeks ago they actually sent my $$ back minus the tax. Good riddance.
Solid feedback and repped. I need one of these was looking at the 230 gallon one. Is there one you'd recommend for the heat here in AZ? Thanks!

Took the chance since it is a great price. A little concerned about the warping so we'll see.
