Seems like they push these 12 Amp HS103s instead of the 15 amp HS105s. At about half the price, it probably means it is total Chinese crap quality, but who knows.

Never owned WeMo, so cannot compare. However, these TP-Link plugs have been absolutely reliable in our household. So reliable that we put these on the outlets of other hardware pieces (e.g., security cameras) that have a tendency of acting up. This way we can reboot them remotely (very useful when we are traveling).
Thanks

I had both ..but I found kasa better in terms of setup , features and mobile app . Wemo does claim to connect with Apple home ..but never got it work and the my wemo plug resets frequently .
I dont use any voice activated smart hubs for simplicity.

There Is No Comparison....If You Are An Apple User. Don't Buy!
I have had the same issues with android and apple. If the app shows the Not Found, its the same in both operating systems.

Got this last time for $4.80. Thus is my first smart plug and I love it. Kasa app provides timer for on off. Theres also schedule to turn on off. Setup was very easy. But has loud click noise when turning on and off. Has led indicator blue red. Overall no complaints.
Same features as the WeMo and audible clicks when they are activated.

I have wemo and these. TP Link is much easier to use and the app is better to.
are the TP more stable? Quite often the app doesn't find some of the WeMo products and other times they are fine.

I don't know everyone's set-up, but I've had zero problems with my Kasa plugs. I only use mine to control lamps, but they've been flawless. Maybe others are having problems with Wi-Fi, because it only uses 2.4ghz. If you do some research, you'll find that 2.4ghz is has a more consistent connection albeit, slower, but that is not relevant for small amount of data needed for smart plugs.

Like any technology products, YMMV because if you hit a wrong lot, you can have a mess when everyone else who bought from other good lots sails smoothly.

We own HS100s, 103s, and 105s. The oldest is over three years old. Never had any problem with any of these TP-Link plugs. It is possible that our luck has something to do with the fact that we have mesh routers that leave no Wi-Fi dead spots in the house.

However, we have used other so-called 'smart' products in the same house that have made us weep (e.g., GE 'C' light bulbs). Not these TP-Link products. We have TP-Link smart bulbs too, and they do not act up, either.

I am not a TP-Link shill. The above just happens to be our household's experience.

On my screen, immediately below the "You Save," the following language is showing up:

Select % back at checkout to get 15% back on your Amazon Prime credit card. Learn more

Do you have an Amazon Prime store card? Maybe it shows up only if you have one. Just a hunch.

Wonder if Smartthings supports this one? My ST app says it supports the HS100 and HS105 but not specifically this HS103...

Do these HS103s support AutoVolt 110-240V?
Kasa Website says yes but Amazon says no.....

https://www.tp-link.com/en/support/faq/1390/

I plan to buy a few for a property in Thailand where they have 220-240V 50Hz Rtpe A/B plugs
