    I got this last time for $200. Sound quality is superb.

    Currently this only works with Apple Music unless you cast another service from your iDevices using airplay. They are adding an update though this fall which adds third party music integration for voice control, so it should be fully compatible soon. Also note that this speaker does not have built in Bluetooth if you need that functionality.

    I'm not asking for "cheap garbage". I'm asking for a less expensive, smaller speaker that I can put in every room instead of just a giant one that you place in one room. I'd rather not use Alexa and Hey Siri just doesn't work well enough when it's not a dedicated speaker.

    There's only a few reasons: 1. You're part of the Apple cult like me and "I can't handle any Apple criticisms" MikeyMike01, and 2. HomeKit is the most secure smart home platform. The Alexa platform isn't even close in terms of security. Google doesn't even cut it.

    I see a lot if interesting comments... I have two of these setup as a stereo pair & I love the sound quality. I don't think you could beat the sound performance for the size & price honestly. Yes, this doesn't play well with the likes of Spotify etc but it will on IOS 14 I believe? I tell siri to turn on my Apple tv & smart lights all the time with no issues. I think they're worth 150-200 but that's just me. I just Spotify airplay from an apple device to the speakers with no issues
