I bought and returned them with the target deal.

They were just... blah generic pillows, nothing special, compares with a 10-20 pillow from BB&B. I bought 3 and returned all 3 during the Target deal, the Essential, the Original, and the foam.

The interesting thing was both the Casper "Essential" and Casper "Original' both have the "Standard" tag on the side of the pillow, same look, same feel, like identical, just rebranded.

But anyway, they aren't nearly as fluffy in the pic, and if you want fluffy you'll be folding it in half overnight.

Not a premium pillow at all.
I tried a Casper pillow and returned it. If you like to pay for good marketing, go at it.
Not to be "that guy", but this pillow has been 40 dollars on costco.com for a while now. Thats the standard price for costco members.

Also, I'm not the fondest of it. Purchased it a month ago and returned it. It's a shame because I absolutely am in love with my costco casper mattress!

However, pillows/mattress preferences vary heavily from person to person, so what doesn't work for me doesn't mean it won't work for you. All my experiences thus far with casper have been great(including a dog bed I purchased, lol)

I have the Casper percale sheets and they're great: cool and crisp in the summertime.

For the pillow, most people might be better off with and adjustable pillow where you can add/remove the shredded foam to get just the right amount of loft. Plus, over time and it gets a bit compressed, just add more foam. This set of reviews really set me on the right path:

I went with the Nest one and it's worked out great. We'd also picked up a couple of very similar pillows from Kohls that were a lot cheaper. For both of us the key feature was being adjustable.

I have the coop one from amazon, and it's freaking great! Shredded memory foam is the way to go, the adjustable loft is killer. The weekender is also an okay pillow if anyone is looking for a cheap memory foam solid.

The casper is NOT a memory foam pillow.
I second coop, I have the standard and eden, both good pillows.

That was one I was considering too. Only hesitation is the fact that there is no inside 'pocket' (I think) so if I ever need to wash that pillow, things may get rather messy ... have to empty it all out then refill it back up.

If they ever go on sale, I may get one anyway.
Funny you say that bc the new ones do have an inner liner that holds the filling!

These pillows get so flat and do not fluff back up with washing. Not worth the price at all.

This the one that's $100 online?
I know, $100 seems obscene but I rarely replace pillows (old one is 8 yrs old) so for $12 a year...

We've had ours for a while now. I like mine and wife seems to like it also.

If you follow their fluffing instructions you get a decent fluff. The ease of washing the pillow is great. Fits into pocket pillow cases snugly from its fluffiness.

I am strongly considering buying another pair...

Just a heads up, the pillows on Amazon and Costco are not exactly the same. The standard one has a zipper to remove the inter pillow, the essential one does not.

I second second that, I only have the eden but its been a very supportive yet soft pillow. All those pillow with polyester fill tend to go flat, coop is the only one that holds up its shape in my experience.

I did a TON of research and ended up with the Avocado pillow. It's shredded latex and kappock (some natural fiber?) and really love it
I am actually seriously considering purchasing the $100 Avocado pillow. Could you provide some more insight into why you picked that pillow and how it's held up for you?

Thanks in advance.

(If anyone is wondering which Avocado pillow I am talking about it's this one: https://www.avocadogreenmattress....iant=queen)

Yea good info on the replies on this thread. Any SDers that can share personal info on pillows and recommendations. Been replacing standard cheap pillows regularly and once in a while I find a good one but generally they're lame. Seems like there should be better products I can get at a reasonable price out there.

What differences do you see between standard and eden and which do you prefer? I think the ones that are refillable are the way to go.

I've been using the Purple Harmony pillow for quite some time. I don't think I can go back to standard pillows again.

I researched and watched countless videos and read way too many reviews. Ended up going with the Purple Harmony pillows. They are seriously expensive and yes i felt kinda irresponsible in a way buying not just one but two of them at 160 a pop for me and my wife! But let me tell you this!!!!! Id do it again in a heartbeat!!! I actually have those and a pair of those highly rated pillows off of amazon that the other gentleman was talking about. Bought a really nice Saatva mattress and decided to go big on the pillows as well. It was either the purple harmony pillows or the Layla pillow.

I have the Coop collapsible camping pillow and I love it, it's tiny but I'll often use it as my normal pillow because it's so comfortable. I wasn't aware they also made normal pillows. Think I might have to get one.
