that said, confirmed it is NOT targeted (i.e., I didn't get the email but was able to use the code
it is indeed one-use-only PER SITE, but not per account/email. that is, you canNOT use it twice on grubhub and you cannot use it twice on seamless
but you CAN you use it once on seamless AND once on grubhub.
FWIW didn't try checking out with a credit card using the code, but it does allow entry/applcation of this code even if PayPal is not (yet) selected as payment method...wasn't worth a cancellation just for research purposes for me, but I'm sure someone else can comment

I gave online feedback to them via the Order Help button, a GrubHub rep popped into a chat box, and then offered me 20% off a future order. I said, the $10 of 25 is already 40%, why would I use a 20% code when everyone gets the $10 off? I just wanted the driver tip refunded. They thought about it, apologized, and refunded the order in full. That was (finally) appropriate service. I'll try them again (and half to, I'm sitting on a gift card).
I'm not sure you realize how this works.
You get to be lazy and spend about 50% more to have food made and delivered to your door by someone who is hustling to make a living or you can get off your ass and go get it yourself and pay less.
It costs money to get food delivered and this saves money on that.
