This is about what you should spend for a gtx 1650, 9th gen i5, 60hz ips display w/250nit 45% NTSC screen, 256gb ssd, 8gb ram and WiFi5 w/ BT 4.2.
It's not particularly a smokin' deal, but it's a good price for what it is. Please note that per HP's website it's 1 8gb ram stick, leaving one slot open to add another 8gb - which is nice!

Any better alternatives, especially with a better, as in brighter, more color accurate - 45% NTSC, really?! - screen?
Sadly none that I can find right now anywhere near this price range. You're going to spend $750+ before you even get a brighter screen, let alone one with better color accuracy.
