If you get rejected sometimes there are errors in their automation side or just simply discrepancies. I have always called the reconsideration lines for credit agencies and sometimes even gotten approved over the phone.
At the least it will tell you why you got denied and it will be a learning experience. In this specific case: Always call

For online shopping- if you had top status at BoA their cash card at 5.25% would be tough to beat... otherwise there's some 5% options for this quarter specifically (DiscoverIT is 5% for paypal purchases, Freedom (not unlimited) is 5x UR for amazon)
That sucks! I have the same score but it is still in review. I got a letter today to verify if the applicant was really me. Going to call them tomorrow to confirm. I hope it goes thru after the hard pull that they have done.

I applied last Tuesday, got a verification call on Thursday which I missed, got a letter this Monday and I called them today to verify that it was me. The rep told me the application is verified and the result will be mailed in 1 to 2 weeks

No...5% cash back cards have separate categories for wholesale clubs.
An item of note...when Discover has 5%cb...Costco does not accept Discover, but Costco.com does.
