If you get rejected sometimes there are errors in their automation side or just simply discrepancies. I have always called the reconsideration lines for credit agencies and sometimes even gotten approved over the phone.

At the least it will tell you why you got denied and it will be a learning experience. In this specific case: Always call laugh out loud

No, this card gives you a fixed 1.5% in addition to other fix categories at certain %. You will need to get the Flex to have revolving 5%.

How long does it take for the $200 bonus to be paid out? I called and got maybe after hrs support and they told me it would take at least to the close of this cycle for even items like grocery store purchases to get 5% cash back.

Yes, I don't think this card has the quarterly cycle like the flex although some youtubers had ranted about it. I just opened mine. The card that has quarterly rotating category 5% bonus is the New Chase Freedom FLEX, NOT the Freedom Unlimited. I read through the offer details. Dance13Pls DM me if you want a referral code for Freedom Unlimited (You get $200 from the referral, but I'm not sure if it's additional to the $200 offer after $500 spent).Applause Anyhow The reason why I choose the Unlimited over Flex is because ALL OTHER purchases gets 1.5% and You can't use FLEX at Costco since it's a master card. I go to Costco a lot so it does matter to me that I can use my UNLIMITED. Hope that helps. nod
