If you get rejected sometimes there are errors in their automation side or just simply discrepancies. I have always called the reconsideration lines for credit agencies and sometimes even gotten approved over the phone.
At the least it will tell you why you got denied and it will be a learning experience. In this specific case: Always call

anyone know how long it takes for the person who refered me to get there 10,000 points?
thanks in advance:]
I decided to call back yesterday but he couldn't find my denial as it had been so long. But told me at end of the day if I was still interested I'd just have to apply again. So I did. And was instantly approved.
I don't know if moving my checking account over to Chase or just having a couple more months with them made the difference. Or just a glitch.
I've been using the CSR for my main CC since I got it in like March/April. However, I have a lot of non-category spend in home utilities, insurance, etc, that I wanted 1.5x instead of 1x.
My understanding is you can have both (be aware of 5/24) but u can have both.

You can buy costco gift cards at costo.com with a mastercard (or discover) as an FYI then use them in-store to pay for stuff.
Do they do hard credit check for product change?
I have had the chase freedom for years. I signed up for the chase freedom unlimited and freedom flex sign up bonuses. I reached both bonuses and waiting for one more to pay out. After the pay out, I want to cancel 2 of the cards. Which one should I keep?
I don't know the real difference between all of them. The Flex I don't like because they have poor integration to my online chase account. They don't let you dispute charges online or track the disputed status.
