Not multiple of the same card. 1 Freedom Unlimited and 1 Freedom — yes.

If you get rejected sometimes there are errors in their automation side or just simply discrepancies. I have always called the reconsideration lines for credit agencies and sometimes even gotten approved over the phone.

At the least it will tell you why you got denied and it will be a learning experience. In this specific case: Always call laugh out loud
That's not how the offer reads:

Earn a $200 bonus after you spend $500 on purchases in the first 3 months from account opening.* And earn 5% cash back on grocery store purchases (not including Target® or Walmart® purchases) on up to $12,000 spent in the first year.*
Yes you are. The Chase Freedom and Freedom Unlimited are different cards. Go and apply for it! If you do, please use someone's referral link (they get $100) to share the wealth!

It is money at the end of the day doesn't matter which pocket it comes from. At least in my calculations you are better off paying yourself back and use other credit card or chase reserve itself for travel purchases. You will find better travel deals this way than what you can find at chase rewards travel site.

So you're saying use the pay it back redemption vs cashing them out? That's a lot of restaurants based on what I'm seeing is eligible. What's eligible on Freedom as its split 400k a card.

I have my credit report freeze. The last time I applied for a chase (southwest) I have to lift the freeze for TransUnion. Does anyone know if Chase only check credit with TransUnion? I don't want to lift all 3 credit bureau if not needed.
