oral-b brush heads still expensive even after $10 off.

I've been using their electric boothbrush for quite some time now. I've never seen "generic" ones. Bought some real ones on eBay before - they were the real deal. I can't remember the name of the seller. It was a long time ago. Do a search on eBay - good deals pop up there from time to time.
As for the sale at Costo, I don't know what you're complaining about saying it's "expensive". Their regular price (8-pack) is $32.00. After the $10 off, it comes out to $2.75 per piece. That's not that much more compared to the deal I scored on eBay.

My regional supermarket chain has store-brand version of oral-b brush heads but you can tell the difference in quality, durability, etc.
You can find cheap knock-offs on Amazon and eBay - proceed at your own risk.

does your dentist notice the difference when using the oral b and the knock off brush heads when you go in for check up?

I bought some generic brush heads from Amazon a few months ago. Bad mistake. The generic brushes didn't stay on the unit. They worked ok when the brush was on and in my mouth but when I try to shake the excess water off the brush head, the head would fly off the unit and into the sink. I ended up having to hold it. Also, one of the brush head didn't work.
I ended up getting rid of them and buying the real ones. I paid $11 for 8 of them so they were cheap. Maybe you will have better luck with generics.

Thanks but it's a POS.
Almost all prices are $XX off with no actual prices printed.
It is a "coupon" book. Coupons are usually $XX off a products. If you shopped Costco often enough, you have a general idea of how much something is or you can go to the Costco website and get a price. Prices on their website are a little higher but you will get an idea of big ticket items.

Store brand heads had to be replaced sooner and they also did not stay on the brush as securely as the originals.
These brush heads say replace every 3 months. There are 9 brushes here.
That's 27 months of toothbrush heads, 2.25 years.
$40 / 27 months = ~$1.48/month. Are you willing to spend $1.50 a month to have a quality toothbrush head for your electric toothbrush?
Seems like a pretty low ask for dental health.
(Note: the Costco pack used to have 8 brush heads, but it was cheaper. On sale I think it was $30. So they might have gone up a bit. Still cheap per month.)

EDIT: Oops, it should be $40. Not 32.
