IDK. $300 for a Wifi 5 Mesh System with no wired backhaul, no Ethernet ports on the AP's, limited admin dashboard features, etc. doesn't seem like a great deal to me.

I really wish Costco sells router combo packs like Amazon does. If you read/watch the reviews, you will notice feedback that the wifi points provide lower speeds. Also, the other important thing to note and compared to the gen 1 Google wifi is that the points do not have ethernet ports and can act only as access points.

No need to return it back at Costco, just keep it then go to Customer Service desk with your receipt on Aug 5 and ask for the price difference. They give you 30 days from purchase.

I have three pack in a 4050 Sq ft house. Perfect signal everywhere. You need a very big house to justify four.

Fwiw, I migrated from deco m9+ with wired back haul and NEST system is MUCH more stable and does not drop my Google home devices.

The Access Points in this bundle do not have ethernet ports for wired back haul. Seems stupid to me. How could Google do this!
Unless I'm really stupid and am not reading the Costco and Google page correctly.
Good spot. Unless you know you can live without it, or you have to have points it is better to wait for the Amazon deal for 2 routers.

When you say perfect signal, do you get same/advertised speeds throughout?

Or is this any better? At least it's cheaper.

Not a case where more is better.
4 works in my case because I have computer techs as neighbors. (Aggressive Wifi Bandwidth Claim Jumpers)
1 in Garage (wired back haul)
1 on each side of house (wired back haul)
1 in center of home

You lost the ethernet ports from the M9 to this, did you use them on the M9 and find that you miss that part?

I can't find the August deals on the Costco app. I've tried going to savings.

Exactly. Most people who need multiple access points also have some means of using a wired connection, either through the attic or crawlspace, to handle the heavy lifting over longer distances. This way, the access points can run at full speed rather than sharing bandwidth for the backhaul.

Dual band (not Tri-band), no Ethernet on the satellites, no dedicated backhaul (nether dedicated tri-band nor wired backhaul), no WiFi 6, no 802.11ax.

Hard Pass.

Besides the extra node from the Nest, how does this compare with the TP-Link Deco M9 at Costco?

My house was wired to every room. So it was all wired back haul. I just moved into a house with no wiring. Ran some to important rooms but I'm using none of them, as the wireless b has been flawless.

Same, tried the m9, was having issues and items losing connection, bought a Google home a couple weeks ago and no issues. Will get it price adjusted when the sale officially starts.

How is the sound quality of each access point? Comparable to a mini or original Google Home?
I have a smaller pack of this. The sound is like a google mini. It's very clear, but I wouldn't expect it to fill a large room with music if that's what you're thinking.

I just bought the nest wifi router with an access point and it comes with the nest hub for $300. I think I'll stick to that one. This is overkill for my small house.
