Compared to eneloop [amazon.com]:
1000 recharge cycles vs 2100 on Eneloops.
holds 80% charge in 2 years (=64% in 4 years?) vs 70% in 10 years for Eneloops
I canceled my Eneloop order and went with these (due to my cheapness), since I don't expect them to sit on the shelf for longer than 3-6mo with my usage. Also figured if I charge 15-20 times a year, both will die of time rather than # of recharge cycles.
But, you get 12 AB for the same/slightly less price than E/F.
I ordered these previously in 2017, and needed some more due to adding more electronics. These will be used for my son's stuff, and my E/F will be for mine.
Yeah. Used to get the black wrapped batteries that were made in Japan. The last set I ordered was wrapped in white and made in china. I think I'll go with ikea rechargeables from now on
