I'd be willing to give these a shot, though I'm sure they're not any better or worse than equivalent Anker Soundcore TWS headphones.

Noise isolation is not noise cancelling for those wondering. It's basically what all earphones have with this style tip that goes into the ear canal and fits snugly.

To expand on this, noise isolation means the head phones physically block sound waves from entering your ears where as noise cancelling means the headphones listen to outside noise and play the inverse into your ear to cancel the noise. To put it simply

I have tried several cheaper Bluetooth headsets. Last good unit I had was lg hbs-900 however those were discontinued and newer units didn't work as well per reviews. I am hopeful that these will work well. Had been considering AirPods but thought I would see how this works.

Heads up, I think the terms "Noise Isolating" and "Passive Noise Canceling" have an overlapping definition. "Active Noise Canceling" is the second part of what you described

Kind of expensive vs all the recent > $30 deals. Especially fresh from purchasing the Aukey Key Series TWS earbuds for $13 each.

Edit: these, currently $54 on Amazon, went for $13 in the recent FP deal that lasted all of 30 minutes.

I am already a fan of traditional headphones. I got addicted to Bluetooth wireless earbuds since May. Since then, I read product reviews day and night. Mostly I focus on negative reviews as I go through every single negative review. I bought a few pairs from various brands. Somehow, a $15 pair works fine for me. I use it for music and phone call. Why would some pairs cost $60 or even $120?

You don't believe it if I tell you. When I place an order for an expensive headphone, the package will be lost by the carrier. The carrier marks "delivered" but there is no actual delivery. I wish I know the details. I have been raising this issue to Amazon and the carrier. It seems like they don't care. Amazon gives me the refund and assumes I should stop tracking the problem. I have future orders to worry about.

I would still take the Anker ones that drop to this price quite often. And those little ear fins really do help them stay in after you're running for awhile and your ears start sweating.
