Bought these last time. You get what you pay for. These are LED strip lights stuffed into a pvc tube. They test true at 34-36watt. I needed something cheap for the basement and garage so these fit the bill. Just don't expect anything fancy at this price.

When I received the box of 4 I thought I got one they were so light or that I got an empty box. But they're working well

I was also considering buying it for grow lights. How many hours do you leave it on?
I am planning to put it in the basement with no windows. Please advise

Is the mounting hardware shown as 'accessories' included with the lights?

Edit - Just read the item page on Amazon, and...they state the parts are, but...just to confirm

Was included in my set. But they were light enough I just stuck them up with command strips.

Good price. I love how cheap LEDs have become. Just a heads up though, there are tons of these types of LED shop lights you can get around this price per light, or close to it, if you keep an eye on Amazon. If you actually need them, that's great but don't jump on this product just because you think you will miss out on a deal. One quick search for "LED shop lights" on Amazon and I found the frequently SD posted brand "Hykolity" 6 light pack for $57 after a $10 coupon. Same product, better price per light: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B085SZQ...iFbDJF96QC

Yup. If there was a brick and mortar Slickdeals headquarters, I imagine that it would be lit by nothing but Hykolity lights

I use these as cheap aquarium lights. They are suitable because they are 5000k, providing the spectrum needed for growing aquarium plants. You would not want to go below 5000k and 6500k is ideal. Not the most aesthetic but they are super cheap and get the job done.

I don't believe these are UL listed. I would be hesitant to hang this Chinese stuff in my house based on this fact.

UL and ETL are both what are called Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratories (NRTL). NRTLs are in place to provide independent safety and quality certifications on products.

Thomas Edison started the Lamp Testing Bureau to test lightbulbs for safety in 1896. Later renamed Electrical Testing Laboratories (ETL), the company expanded to include testing for Standards for Safety for a wide variety of electronics components and products.

ETL is currently a division of Intertek Testing Laboratories. Intertek ETL is, like UL, an OSHA recognized NRTL. Unlike UL, ETL does not publish their own standards; instead, they test parts and components to the published standards of other NRTLs, including ASME, ASTM, and, of course, UL.

Products that are ETL Listed have been tested at an ETL laboratory and found to meet all applicable Standards for Safety published by relevant NRTLs.
