True story: Back in the day Chicken wings were a part of the chicken that nobody wanted. Super markets would sell it for very low amounts of money just to give it away. It wasn't until the invention of "Buffalo Wings" that they could command higher prices. Now they sell for ridiculous amounts of money (often times you'll see $6+ a pound).

I'm always shocked when I see the prices of wings at pizza joints. The amount of food you get for the money spent makes it one of the worst "slickdeals" at a restaurant. The fact that you are getting 5 wings for free does make things better though.

Also another food that people looked down upon were Lobsters. They'd serve them as prison food and usually only poor people ate it. It was like eating a sea cockroach.

I just hope Chicken livers continue to be treated as poor people food. Don't you ever try Liver and Onions. It's not good, you won't like it, its really disgusting.... (goes and buys a pound of chicken livers for 99 cents a pound)
Some more:

- Applebee's - Buy one, get one free deal on wings (boneless or traditional) on July 29, 2020 on online orders only when you use the code "WINGDAY" at checkout.

- Bonchon - They will be introducing their first-ever dipping sauce, Cucumber Wasabi Ranch Dipping Sauce, but is only making it available for one day on July 29, 2020. The sauce will be included with all fried chicken and chicken wing orders on the day, while supplies last.

- Buffalo Wild Wings - On Wednesday, July 29, 2020, you can get 6 free wings with the purchase of any size order of wings (applies to boneless or traditional). The deal is only available for dine-in (where available) or by ordering via phone for pickup.

- Domino's - 10 wings (traditional or boneless) for $7.99 carryout

Cheese's delivery-only brand) - Place an order $15 or more from Pasqually's Pizza & Wings on July 29, 2020 and get a free order of twice-baked wings (traditional or boneless). No code is required when ordering through UberEats and Door Dash.

Two years I did this deal and when I went to pick up, there were no 5 free wings. Person was clueless about the deal when I asked. At least this time, there's a code.

Thanks for that, I thought I was remembering wrong. Yes, wings used to be dirt cheap! I'd buy them as crab bait, those and necks.

I personally like dim sum chicken feet but I doubt it'll be mainstream anytime soon.

Last year you could buy 5 wings and get the 5 free wings. This year it looks like there's no option to buy a minimum 5 wings.

Does this stack with the $20 deal previously posted? I've never been, but there's one on my way home from work that I might stop at otw home.

Or any other recommendations on what to get instead would be appreciated.

Wow, people are still eating expensive chicken? I hope no one figures out beans give you the protein needed instead. Don't try beans, they're really disgusting.
