In theory, this is a great charger but buyer beware: IF YOU'RE BUYING THIS FOR A MACBOOK PRO 16", there are some issues:
1. It won't let your macbook pro go to sleep; randomly your macbook pro will wake up and make a beep as if it started charging. This is a no go if you have your computer in the same room where you're sleeping. Multiple times at night, you will be woken up.
2. You cannot shut down your Macbook pro. If it is attached to the charger and you shut down from the Mac OS menu, the computer will shut down and then will automatically restart in a minute.
I tried the original version and re-ordered the "upgraded" version. Both had same issues with my MacBook Pro. Otherwise, the size is great when compared to other chargers but not usable with this flaw.

This sounds like the same/similar issue I have with my Dell u3818dw. I have to shut the thing off at night or it'll beep every min or so. This is a known issue with this monitor although they falsely claim it only happens on certain os versions. https://www.dell.com/support/arti...de?lang=en

I think it is incorrect implementation of PD in this charger where it stops and starts charging causing the on/off and non sleep issue.

I tried the 61w and that also riddled with these problems. Recently, tried the ravpower 61w version and it works very well. It get little hot when used with 15inch mac book pro but perfectly fine with 13inch mac

Ouch. Kinda the entire reason you'd buy a 100W single port charger...
