Multi-packs are available in select sizes for pet parents to keep an extra fetch ball on hand. The Chuckit! Tennis Ball is compatible with a variety of Chuckit! It's my understanding that for first shipment you pay price at time you locked in/subscribed, but subsequent shipments are at the then current price.

I have one golden that loves to try and rip the fuzz off balls.

I know of a Golden who's front canines are wore down from chewing on tennis balls. Not sure if these are safer or not, but I would think so.
