This model is pretty good, they updated thier 20v model to include alot of the features that are on the Flexvolt grinder which is a complete monster. If you want in on Flexvolts platform i reccomend that one, otherwise this 20v XR is a fine alternative.

No, this is the 1/4" model. You'd need at least the mid-torgue 3/8" model or more for that.

You need an impact wrench
DCF887 impact driver is my most frequently used DeWalt tool.
the xr is great. But I prefer the 60v because it takes 6" disks. More use and deeper cuts. I wouldn't buy a brushed grinder
