These moronic studios have got to loosen up their tightwad practices (again), before the entire physical media industry implodes -- their classic revenue stream. It costs almost zero more to manufacture these f'ing things, and the masters are already 4K. We're living in an age when new releases free to watch on Amazon Prime are in UHD-4K and HDR at no extra cost.
Not even a full scale zombie apocalypse will cancel Black Friday.

It chapter 2 and Joker sound good. Not sure if I will wait for November. I've already seen joker 2-3x thought meh at first but like re-watching it. He did a good job acting and it was fun watching De Niro get it.

Anyone know if the directors cut of dr. Sleep is on the 4k disc? It's easily the far super version of the film.

It's not unfortunately. It's on the blu ray disc for some reason. If it's any consolation prize though, the digital copy of the director's cut that comes with it is in 4k.

So just for clarification, it comes with a 4k digital copy of the director's cut, not the theatrical cut, correct? I just wasn't 100% sure from the wording, & didn't see this info anywhere on Amazon's page, tho I may have missed it. Haven't watched it yet, but have heard the director's cut is much better, so that's what I want. Thanks

Yes, the Director's Cut of "Doctor Sleep" is included as a *blu-ray* (HD) and *digital* (4K) only, but NOT on a 4K disc.

Digitally, you get the 4K version of BOTH the theatrical release AND the director's cut as two separate movies when you redeem the one code that they provide you. Hopefully that clears up my original post for you!
