It is still there. You need to go and select a new seller. It is not the default one. Also, note that several options at this price point have different expiration dates listed.

Should we be worried it's being shipped as an Amazon Warehouse deal? Cuz I don't want a half eaten bag of cookies showing up.

I'm seeing an expiration date of September 5, so only have a month to finish this. As much as I would like to, I probably shouldn't...

If it's any consolation that date really is iffy especially if in a sealed bag. once you open the bags they're going to show a decrease in quality at roughly the same rate...

https://www.tasteofhome.com/artic...too%20long.

As a bonus note, heavily preserved products like dinty moore beef stew and hormel's chili will last almost forever in the can no matter what the date says as long as the package is intact (beats the hell out of emergency rations usually):

That used to be the case for most products.
In recent years, manufacturers have been eliminating certain preservatives and ingredients.
Especially in snacks, getting rid of trans fat significantly reduced the shelf life. Oreo, for example, does not taste the same when it's close to or past its expiration date. It's still perfectly safe to eat, but the taste and texture deteriorates quite noticeably.

Damn it, this is why we can't have good (ish?) stuff. Thankfully I've got a teenager to insure this doesn't last a month.
