What do you mean "...When I had it attached by HDMI it looked worse than my ten year old monitor..." Are you saying this monitor is No Good via HDMI? Frown

Text quality wasn't great when hooked up via HDMI. I have a 2014 Macbook pro and a quick Google search makes me think it has more to do with the Mac than the monitor. But HDMI looked better on the Acer(Acer has HDMI 2.0), although both monitors looked best via display port.

I just purchased a Lenovo Q27q and was waiting on another deal. This looks to be a good as it will be my second monitor where I keep my mail and messenger open. Thanks OP

Thank you for the comparison. I went into my local Office depot when I was just out this morning. Checked the monitor on display and colors and video playing looked fine. Monitor itself looks very thin and bezels are thin.
Added 30% Back in Rewards and free frames coupon code to sweeten deal.
Attaching some pictures. I believe the model I saw was the HD 1080P model and this one should be a step up from it.

Can't tell for sure, but looks like no audio out. Damn. This is a great deal.

Edit: According to AOC's website, it has a headphone out. Sweet. In for one, thanks OP!

Does the AOC shakes a lot with the typing. I had a Lenovo and the support was so weak that any small shake from typing and such cause the monitor to shake. How is the support?

Ok, is there really any difference between HDMI 1.4 and connecting display port for just normal office usage? Sucks that this doesn't have built in speakers

250 nits is plenty for indoor use. I never use full brightness. But if you want you can wait till the 4k model with 350 nits go back to sale for $50 more. It also has an additional HDMI port

If you do end up purchasing this do you think you could possibly update on how this compares to the Lenovo. I want to buy the Lenovo for the design but it's just a bit too pricey at this moment if I want to do a dual monitor setup. Thanks I'm advance!
