Not bad, only 60hz which is normal. Personally I'm waiting for a 27" 4k hdr 120hz+ to go with the new consoles. I feel like all these 60hz panels will go on sale because of that.

Same here, but we're still looking at near $1k for a 100HZ+ 4k monitor. Next year maybe can get one for a reasonable cost. Driving it is a whole other matter.

I'm looking for a monitor for my MacBook pro...

I'm a photographer and videographer but also game a bit.
I edit in 1080 on video so 4k isn't a huge need.
Is this the monitor for me?
Edit- this is about the end of the budget for now. So I know I'll sacrifice and I'd say the gaming is where I'd say is best to do it at.
For reference this does *not* play nice with the standard USB ports on the back of the monitor. It basically exploded my wireless stand for charging my phone (my guess is it pulled too much power).

Same here. Waiting for at least 120hz one, and maybe 144 hz. I also hope to get at least a 750 nits brightness model HDR 650 standard. 1000 nits ones are extremely pricy. In the past was hoping to buy either Acer Predator X27 (tends to have a backlight bleeding problem) or Asus ROG Swift PG27UGX when the price dropped as it did now. However, the problem is that 27' and UHD perhaps is not the optimal combo. Perhaps 32' 4K is a better size but the same series but in 32' aren't even out and when they will be out the price would be over $3.5k. if 27' is fine for you, you should check out Eve Spectrum.
