This size is superior to the smaller 8.5 x 11 sheets that come with iron on transfer kits. Nothing worse than having the iron slip off the sheet and melt the transfer. Of course, good for baking too.

We've been cooking and baking a lot at home like everyone in these Covid9 times. And one thing I've definitely learned is how vital parchment paper is to good baking. If you haven't tried using parchment paper before this is good opportunity.

Did you clip the coupon? Coupon and S&S should bring it down to $2.30 plus tax

What is the purpose of parchment paper in iron on transfer kits? Google tells me it's an optional step in some and that you can do it again after each wash but doesn't say why.

There are some baking uses where parchment paper is a much better solution than flour, especially if you bake with sourdough. For example, I put my sourdough loaf on parchment paper to lower it into a very hot preheated Dutch oven. This helps me avoid getting burned while easily transferring the dough. I also make sourdough discard crackers where I spread the thick liquid discard onto a very thin layer on the parchment paper and bake it. The crackers come right off the parchment paper. Adding flour wouldn't work nearly as well, as it would get incorporated into the dough.
