Just found this monitor in store for $300 and couldn't find it on Costco's website at all.
Everywhere else this monitor is $400 (Walmart, Beach Camera, B&H, Samsung.com etc).
Costco lists it at 75Hz, all others say it's a 60Hz monitor. Will update when I open it.

For that price, I wanted more out of it I guess.
The colors on the LG are definitely better. Samsung doesn't even list the color gamut on their website for this model like they do the others. I suspect it's not even 99% sRGB which explains why it's washed out. I tried the different color profiles on the Samsung but it didn't make a big difference.
That said the next cheapest ultra wide with this size and resolution is about 40% more expensive at the ~$430 range so your expectations might be too high. Even the LG at $500+ doesn't beat the Samsung in all categories.

It looks like an IPS and not a VA panel.
Kudos to Samsung for an exceptional monitor for under $300!
I many need the larger screen for Excel spreadsheets and multiple work windows opened at the same time. It looks good so far.
I almost spent a $1,000 on a 43", but realized that this 34" monitor was wide enough to have multiple pages opened side by side.

Where can someone go about getting this ice profile?

The monitor went back to Costco as whites looked almost yellowish. The downside of VA panels.
Went with the 38" Acer IPS at Costco for $799. Will get in today to see if better than my 3 - 32" monitor setup I am using now.
