I picked this up a few days ago...excited to try it out. I am a little worried it won't complete my yard in one charge though. I have about .22 acres to mow and usually takes around an hour.

Are there any non OEM batteries available for 60v?

I have not seen non-OEM batteries. The best way to get another battery might be keeping your eye out for clearance deal on a blower or trimmer that has a battery. I already had a 5 Ah battery that I picked up with a blower last year. I am coming from an older Kobalt push mower. The turbo mode and self-propelled mode definitely chews up the battery life.

And this specific model comes with a 4 years warranty for battery (usually Greenworks does 2 years for battery). Good deal!

I saw it at this price on and off since June 11. The main concern with this model is the slow charging.

Have you tried it out using only one battery?

Yes, but worst case of using turbo to help pick up leaves (tree has a disease), cutting grass short and self-propelled. It seemed to last about 30 minutes, but I did not run until completely dead, just until no lights on the battery meter. Only one time using it, but turbo seemed to drain the battery more than self-propelled.

I don't know about the 40V's power, but having the three with two large batteries will be really handy.

OP, please add "MAX" in the title. This is 60V max not the standard 60V version. This got a turbo mode, looks bad ass to me. I looked at mowers for quite a while, went with Toro 60V and happy with it. But this is good price for this model. I have seen this version in Lowe's for $449 for a long time, so it's a good price not necessarily a steal deal. Greenworks website also had this for $449 for a while and this was not eligible for further discounts when they were running 20%, 15% discounts from time to time.

Max added. Agreed, the turbo is a great feature and one of the reasons why I bought it.

I picked up a 60v Greenworks mower last year for 159 on clearance at Lowes. It is quiet and works great...but I wouldnt bite for 400. I dont use the self propelled feature though. I would wait for another price drop. I also have the Greenworks 60v chainsaw, trimmer, and blower...all got on clearance. They all work great too. The 60v blower puts my 40v to shame.

I guess last year I saw under $200, but this is still high price.
I got 40V one from Amazon for $150 and its nothing but garbage.
40V is literally underpower, I am looking for 80V because 40V is wouldn't able to cut, 2" plus grass without stopping hundred times, not sure 60v would any better.
