They also have a number of other Disney 4k sets on clearance. Price is YMMV as always with store clearance.

Isn't most Disney/Pixar fake "4K" ? Max resolution is 2K for most releases?

Can you tell us more about the "fake 4k". Has this been reported?

Disney is notorious for being lazy with their 4K blu rays but upscaling 2K.

Also not as bright according to bluray.com review and many others.

Still watchable but not the best 4K representation

Most current movies are rendered in 2K. While they may still film the actors on sets in up to 8K, the CGI is usually done in 2K, so when they combine both of them, it's reduced to 2K-3K. These are usually the sources to make 4K/UHDs. Basically, upscaling.

Disney is notorious for mediocre 4Ks (Star Wars, Marvel) that aren't much of an improvement over the Blu-rays. Don't know if it's because their movies are CGI heavy and therefore, mostly 2K intermediates, or because they don't spend the time and effort to restore them by going as far back to the original sources as they can get. Paramount and Universal get praise for their 4Ks because they seem to remaster their movies, but that could also be because they have a much older library (without CGI) which used actual film that had 8K and 16K sources.

Will scanning these at the price check scanners in-store show the clearance price?

The scanner at my store were all shut down due to the virus. You can ask any rep that work there to use their mobile device they carry to scan for you.

I'm assuming brickseek is accurate for prices.

It seemed like all of the Marvel and Disney 4k movie sets that are exclusive to Target had clearance tags by them. That included ones like this one, Captain Marvel and a bunch of others. I posted a thread about the Captain Marvel set as well, which can get down to $10.94 (70% off).

Brickseek may sometimes show a lower price before they've done the actual markdowns in store.

I found Incredibles 2 for 8.98 and Little Mermaid for 9.88 at separate Targets. I also saw clearance tags on the shelf for Dumbo and Aladdin but no copies on shelf.

The one Incredibles 2 set I opened did nothave a digital code card. How rare is that and will I have to bring some Kyles and Karens to Target to get a refund?

The other one is still sealed.

Brick Seek was correct. Store had 4 left with clearance tag on them. $9.13 out the door with red card discount and tax. Digital code worked.
