Decent price for a premium thin and light gaming laptop.
144Hz screen.
Individually lit RGB keybaoard.
Large 99.9 Whr battery.
Muted metal design.
Cheaper than Razer Blade and offers a better package than the ROG Zephyrus M15.

Edit: full specs from MSI
https://asset.msi.com/pdf/main/us...E-044.pdf?
Screen is 100% sRGB.
2060 is the regular 2060 I guess since it labels out Max-Q on 2070 and 2080 varients.

QA Edit: Seems to be temporarily OOS or on backorder, for both shipping and store pick up. However it says you can order now for shipping or pick up and it will notify you when available.

Been researching a lot into this computer, but unfortunately there is lack of information regarding the panel. According to MSI's website, it's a 100% sRGB 3ms Panel, which is top of the line for this price point. Overall, it's a pretty decent deal if you're looking for the form factor (thin/light) as other competitors are the Acer Predator 300 or the MSI GL65 which have thicc builds. If you don't care about ryzen vs intel, this is worth considering.

Much better than the A15 imo, but the G15 can be an overall better value if it has the Ryzen 4800HS CPU with the 240hz screen. The 144hz screen on the G15/A15 is not good with washed out colors

One major question though: is the 2060 max P or Q?

TUF is budget oriented. G15 for the same price doesn't have 2060. Doesn't have that fancy individually lit RGB keyboard. A bit heavier and thicker. A washed out screen. A smaller battery. No camera. It's overall an inferior package with a more powerful CPU. I don't think that worth the trade off.

It's 100% sRGB according to MSI official website. People are putting too much focus on ASUS and AMD. If gaming only, Ryzen doesn't really show clear advantages over Intel.

If you're looking for battery life you probably shouldn't be looking at gaming laptops...typically you aren't going to get more than 2 hours or so.

Heat is what u would expect from thin and light. It has 2070 and 2080 variants so it should be cooler with RTX 2060. Battery life isn't going to be fantastic but this is the largest battery size you can legally bring on a plane, so it should be one of the best among competitors.

Basically AMD is cheaper not better..
Depends, gaming wise not so much. Raw power is much more faster. Buying a laptop ultimately comes down to the laptop itself. G15 with AMD for the same price is just a worse package.
