Highly recommend ! Two sets of pads let you tailor the sound to your mood, balanced or analytical. Tesla tech like the T1, great Beyer comfort & styling.
Beyer's warranty documentation makes no explicit disclaimer about having to purchase the product from an dealer listed on that site. Only that you have a valid serial number and proof of purchase.
And one more post because why not, I called Beyer North America and they said their dealer list online is outdated. If you purchase headphones shipped and sold by Newegg.com, they are an authorized Beyer retailer. If you're referring to the previous DT 1990 PRO deal, 6ave is also an authorized dealer. Knock yourself out validating it.
Is it harsh like the other lower Beyer?
Seriously want to buy this, too bad there not much place where one can audition headphones
I don't find them harsh or overly bright at all and I prefer them with the Analytical pads which are the brighter of the two sets they come with. I also have a set of Dekoni Elite Velour pads for them which basically split the difference between the Analytical and Balanced pads they come with.
To me they're sharp and detailed and quite neutral although there is a treble spike. A step up from an HD600/650/6XX. For reference I currently also own the HD598, HD600, HD650, Fostex TH-X00 Ebony, AKG K712 Pro, Fidelio X2HR and a Focal Elear. The 1990s are a favorite.
