No, they were given a choose to do a second season but the creators decide there was no need. HBO respected their decision and decided to move on. This show is very good and won multiple awards. It got review bombed because of racist people.

This is false. 55% is the rating for the MOVIE. 95% is the rating for THIS TV SHOW.

$10 for 9+hours of the best show on TV last years is certainly worth your money (and 95% of RT agrees). Word of warning for those who haven't already figured it out...the show touches on racial issues. This is why you're seeing some really strong negative opinions. My wife, who hated the movie and could care less about "super hero" stuff agreed this show is great. So don't let either of those issues stop you from giving this a try.

Definitely not the case. Rotten Tomatoes score of 95% and an idmb rating of 8.1 out of 10. Wonderful miniseries, builds the story with a phenomenal twist ending.
