Not sure when this changed. I looked for a post on it and didn't see anything.

But, this makes Cricket the best deal out there, imo. We've been on the 5 lines for $100 plan for about 4 years. These days, it is 4 lines for $100. They've gone from 3GB to 5GB to 10GB.

Yes, this is a great deal. The change happened a few weeks back. On the same 5 for $100 as you... Started as AIO Wireless @ 500MB before Cricket bought them. At some point it was 1 GB, then 2GB, Then 5GB, now 10GB!

Still on the 5 for $100 like you folks but it looks like they also silently raised the price for groups so it's no longer $100/4 lines.

10 GB Plan:
1 Line - $40/mo.
2 Lines - $70/mo.
3 Lines - $90/mo.
4 Lines - $110/mo.
5 Lines - $130/mo.

Fingers crossed we get to keep our grandfathered plans for years to come.

Edit - As others have pointed out, you can still get 4 lines/100 if you sign up for the capped unlimited plan.

My lines flip over date is 21st of the month. Still seeing 5GB data on the bar right now. Although the title say 10GB. Two of the lines are already max out the 5GB!

Am I reading their group plans correctly? It looks like three unlimited lines cost the same as three 10 GB lines at $90.

Also for those of us lucky enough to have the GF plan, speed is capped at 8MBPS, instead of 3 currently. I never get anywhere near that in my neighborhood, but it may be of value to some folks.

It has 4 lines for 100 Cricket Core plan, which is unlimited data. Makes no sense to get the 10GB plan, unless 5 lines for 100 comes back.

Anyone knows how is cricket when compare to Visible Mobile, which also has 4 lins for 100?

yeah, this is a nice update. kind of necessary if they want to stay in business.
i have the old 5/100 plan and a couple of them are out of data and won't renew for another two weeks. not normally a problem but we had internet problems at home for a couple days and the kids burned through that data pretty fast.

anyway, i have 1 line on Visible, paying $25 with Party Pay and its unlimited. Its also way faster speeds than I get on Cricket. Most likely, i'll be switching everyone over to Visible in the future.

Was thinking about the same thing, due to data cap and weak signal in my area. Can you tell if all unlocked phone from Cricket can be used for Visible Mobile? How much is the activation fee, and if hotspot data is included? Thank you in advance.

hopefully they dont kick people off the grandfathered plan.

the only reason they are doing this is because t mobile is moving up in the cell cervice market share.
