Slickdeals is about good deals not cheap $%*&

This is a great deal for August 2020... plus it gives you a great reason to avoid the "news"

This is$200 cheaper after the gift card than the previous FP deal? I'm missing anything? With this "gift card" it would be refunded back to your card btw if it's the same with my last purchase.

Should be out 09/13/2020

Side note, Vizio panels are made by LG

Short of paying tens of thousands more for a TV, 77" is the largest OLED available at normal consumer level prices.

You can get the 65" CX for just over $2K if you want. I don't anticipate the Vizio will be anywhere close to the LG in PQ when it comes out... at least at first. I am very anxious to see it though. Should be interesting and hopefully will help nudge LG and Sony to drop their prices a bit on their OLEDs.

I'm almost positive we'll see prices drop once Vizios OLEDs hit market

You think Costco will have them on launch day? Best Buy does have September 13th as the launch date but Vizio said they will launch in Fall so I'm not sure if they will actually launch on the date Best Buy has.

I certainly hope so... I have my eye on a 65CX or 65GX and I'm ready to buy now but I may just wait a month and see what happens. Also would love to hear what Vincent from HDTV Test has to say about this Vizio if he gets one to review soon.

If LG doesn't drop their price right away and Costco has the Vizio a little less expensive then BB I may be enticed to consider the 65" Vizio.

I wouldn't hold my breath. BB has most of the current models available and Walmart is just starting to get inventory. They currently have one 2020 model but place holders for most. I haven't seen anything on Costco or Sams yet not even place holders

Vizio's OLEDs are only going to be 55" and 65", no 77" model will be available for 2020. No idea about future model years. Otherwise, I would be waiting to see the 77" Vizio OLED if it were coming. As it stands, I'm weighing this deal vs the likelihood of Costco having a sale that will bring this TV closer to this price but offer the great Costco extended warranty.
