I hear ya. I can never go TN on a laptop. For some people it doesn't bother them, but it does to me.
The sweet spot moves as you adjust your seating position.
I am extremely pissed; returning my IdeaPad 5 ASAP.
I purchased the Intel processor version of this from Microsoft Outlet store on eBay less than two weeks ago. This thing runs HOT underneath and keyboard side, even when hibernating. The fricking backspace key is burning this morning, after hibernating all night!
I have owned and worked with over a dozen laptops last 10 years. None of them were even close to as HOT as this one. I also purchased the extra warranty and damage insurance from Lenovo, which I am trying to get credit for. I feel that Lenovo support is not what is used to be - they really didn't seem to care. I started a repair ticket before 8am and they still have not called back or emailed me depot info. Anyway, doesn't matter as I started the return.
Over the last few days, the system started crashing, freezing, and getting application errors galore. The display is very dim and dark when streaming videos. Images are grainy looking - like 1 dimensional print on paper. The hard drive or fan, not sure which, makes thumping noise.
Thanks for listening... I have spent so much time setting this up and copying my files over... ANY IDEAS ON HOW TO WIPE THE DRIVE QUICKLY?
