Basically its lubricant when wiping a car's paint, helps reduce the chance of scratches.

So similar to mixing water with a tiny bit of rinseless solution? I've been using that for awhile and it works pretty well.

I use this product. I normally go to delta sonic and when I get home I use a micro fiber towel and spot wipe the car down.

Yes, can be safely applied to PPF and in addition to ceramic coating without issues. However, don't expect much more durability in addition to ceramic coating as it probably won't bond.
