Honestly though 240hz already is overkill for 99% of gamers. I can understand pro gamers using 240hz but pro gamers aren't competing on a laptop. I'd much rather use this money towards other components for those downvoting please explain why you need 300hz on your monitor

I had to look twice when I saw 300Hz screen, on a laptop no less.

I'm sure it's amazingly smooth, but you have a point. I think many people would rather have 1440p @ 144Hz than 1080 @ 300.

Sidebar pet peeve: It drives me crazy that the wankers at Nvidia won't revise their naming convention so that this sort of thing is more clear. The people who care about this stuff know that not all 2060s are the same, yet they make it really hard to discern what is what.

You're right it's unnecessary, but it doesn't look like you're paying extra for it. The only question is if it hurts battery life.

FYI, The 300Hz screen has a better color gamut than the 144hz one. That's one reason they go for 300Hz

It's a new intel H10 SSD(OEM version), 32GB Optane could work as ram buffer for SSD or individual (setting in intel software). They are on the same chip (which means another slot is available).
