The common issue I found with most FM transmitters is the hum noise due to poor shielding/grounding.

Does anyone have experience with this particular unit / brand?

Can FM transmitting option be switched off so I can use it as a bluetooth to aux adapter with NO FM?

Update: Nevermind, It seems there is no aux at all. Pass.

Warning ... Those Vent Mount supports will loosen up over time and will keep falling off the vents in a few months in the car.

I always get humming when my phone is on a charger going through an aux cable. I switched to bluetooth using an FM transmitter and the humming is gone. However, the unit I'm using is not this one though.

I guess it's a degree of things. Even the Anker T2 (one of the most expensive) gets humming if the volume is turned up...could be just the FM statics. So we need to distinguish between poor shielding/grounding noise and just the nature of radio statics.

There are definitely "noisy" units out there (Ze*porte, Okh*t).

Which unit are you using?

Anyone know of one of these that automatically connects to your phones Bluetooth? Idc if it's a bit more expensive. I need that feature cause I'm a lazy ass.

It will auto connect. I don't know of a unit that doesn't do that.

Sry I'm at work currently but just search fm in Amazon and it's like the first and second ones that have tons of reviews!
