Yeah, the first 2 seasons with Rhona Mitra were great. After that not so much.

I never could figure out why they had them cure the plague so quickly. It seemed that this should have taken at least 3 seasons. Once they had done that, it sort of felt like they were stretching for story ideas.

They had to wrap that story arc up quite bluntly/abruptly at the end of s2 due to Rhona Mitra's departure from the series. She explained "why" on Instagram. Basically, creative differences.
