Metal slats with lots of gaps in between. I can't imagine it's good for your mattress
Sliding from just sleeping on it, or from "extracurricular" activities?
My biggest issue with these Zinus beds is there are no L-brackets on the outside so your mattress slides around all the time. The frame I bought from them had "stickers" attacked to some of the thin metal slats to supposedly hold the mattress in place but that's it. It's completely annoying to have the mattress sliding back and forth.

Good price, seems like a big complaint is the weight limit

I was wondering the same. I think an inch or two is the recommendation.

Have the full size for guest bedroom. Has a Lucid 10" latex hybrid on it and works/looks great. Easy to put together and very solid. If the slats concerned you, you could always get a low profile box spring to put down.

Zinus is definitely best brand for the price. Especially their memory foam beds are good above 8" thickness. Also their firm spring matresses are good, used one for 4 years and sold it after downsizing. Their frames are solid and customer support is good. BUT this frame looks so fragile. Also somebody said L Brackets, I have been using zinus frames like Taylan , Mia 1500 and Mia 1500H, never experienced that issue and I did not used the stickers ever. Maybe your bed is thin? My 8-10" beds never slided over. Of course it moves like inch or two, maybe once in a month, but I don't complain where I pay half(even quarter on some models) of Mattress Firm prices.

Edit: Forget to mention, I furnished bedrooms with Zinus mattresses in 5 different airbnb's that I have last 4 years. Maybe not the topic but Tuft and Needle mattresses are the one I will buy if I go above $400, better than Zinus.

When you try tuft and needle anywhere, you will understand the difference. I was using 12" serta before(dont remember the model tho) and even zinus green tea infused 8" memory foam bed with 2-3" topper was an upgrade after it. Do not blind buy beds over $500, what I suggest.

I had a zinus mattress platform and after about a year my back started hurting. When I got a new mattress, I still had back pain so I ordered a platform from the mattress manufacturer. When I removed my zinus platform from my room, I noticed the metal was bent. Then I noticed that I could bend the mattress platform in half with very little effort. I was honestly shocked by how poor quality the metal is on these things...never even knew that metal could be of such poor quality. You'll get less than what you paid for with this imho
