Edit: I originally posted that this case was available at Amazon for $90 so this was a great price, but as doema pointed out, looks like the $90 price is from a 3rd party seller. I could have sworn it was an Amazon-provided price, but I was wrong. Appears the normal price is around $60, as it is on Newegg [newegg.com] and eBay [ebay.com] right now.

Same case at Amazon [amazon.com] right now is $90. Great price, thanks OP!
mainly because it's a 3rd party seller and not amazon.com

Totally did not see that it was a 3rd party seller. Could have sworn the price looked normal, as if it was provided by Amazon directly. Thanks for pointing this out. I updated my comment.

Better airflow than it's sibling that doesn't have a front mesh, but it's uglier.

at this price point i can't think of an objectively better performing case. in the sub $90 price range the fractal meshify c, lancool II mesh, P400a, and maybe NR600 are the only other cases worth considering.

Except for that small bit of foam that the meshify drops in the front hampers it's thermal performance. The other ones on your list are definitely good however- another good case I've seen recently is the be quiet! Pure Base 500DX

Edit: My mistake it's a "small" bit of foam in the front. I sincerely apologize for my egregious error. Please forgive me and I hope you will pardon any future descriptions of dust filter foam at the front of a pc case.

Still clinging to legacy builds with 5 1/4 bays until optical storage for backup becomes obsolete.

Maybe a silly button, but where are the power and reset buttons?
I haven't had a new build in years, but it seems like all these new cases have hidden power buttons.
I just placed an order and it's listed as back-ordered.
What happens if it doesn't arrive in time for the rebate submission deadline?

Is this a good pc tower for starters? Planning on building and worried that some parts may not fit, any insight or past experiences you guys learned?

on point on all accounts. the pure base is another great case w/ great reviews (gamers nexus in particular). the meshify probably has slightly worse thermals, but i think feature/quality-wise might be a tad bit ahead.

your GPU might be an issue, so just figure out the dimensions. the case dimensions are clearly listed these days. if you're using an AIO cooler/radiator that may also be an issue. look up what fits. this is a great case not only for starters, but even more experienced builders. i think i'm going to grab it. you will probably want to add 2 fans in the front.

Ok, buddy. Calm down.

It's a really thin nylon mesh attached to a plastic frame, the same as all the other Phanteks cases with washable filters. Just take it out if it bothers you so much.
