am I missing something? not a deal according to camels, almost always around or lower than this price in the past five years
I'll be doing it again shortly. 2018 Odyssey and now a 2020 Odyssey. It's pretty straightforward, remove a trim piece, drop the exhaust to gain access, etc. The bigger PITA is disassembling the interior to put the electricals in. Ultimately it's really just a plug in but to get to the plug is a PITA IIRC.
Protip: the newer the car is the easier these will be to install. The older (and more used) the car, the grimier and/or rustier the bolt holes will be. I've learned from the past to get these and install when the car is new if possible. Previously I've had to retrain or flush rusty/dirty bolt holes which is just an added step and a PITA as most people will be doing this lying on their backs.
Which model specially did you install on odyssey and which year model is it? Thanks in advance

Not sure which model he has but I put one of these on my 2014 Odyssey EX-L. Super easy. Didn't need a video. Just used the instructions it came with. Probably took 30 min to install. Bought it on Amazon for $125 but that was probably 4 years ago.
Like another poster mentioned you don't really need to watch the video but I think it's worth the 7 minutes to make the install go smoother. I got all the tools set up and the whole process took me about an hour. I cut and replaced the trim piece on the drivers side. This isn't shown in the video but only takes 5 more minutes. You just take off a 1" strip on the side that touches the hitch.
You took the words out of my mouth. This damn sienna sits so low to the ground as it is and scrapes everything I drive over. If I had NOT got a model with the hitch tucked INto the bumper, I probably wouldn't be able to leave my own slightly inclined driveway. My additional 2 cents
This ground clearance issue leaves me desperately waiting the lease to end so I can never buy a Sienna again
Something like this https://www.amazon.com/Curt-Manuf...B07328N
(note:not a better price but it is a better product)
From my research, uhaul installation is around $75. However, I believe you have to buy the hitch unit from uhaul, which costs more. The same Curt hitch unit I found on Amazon was about $100 cheaper than the same hitch unit from uhaul.
