If you have a digital camera, camcorder, or GoPro that can output HDMI, you could purchase an HDMI to USB capture card/dongle for about $11 off of ebay [ebay.com] and use it as a webcam

Stock on webcams have been a lot lower due to more people working from home. My friend just bought the C922 in late July at $99.99 after waiting for weeks. Another friend purchased a semi-used C922 on eBay for almost $150 in June or late May. I actually bought one earlier this week. There is not label on the box that shows "C922", since its called a "1080P Pro Stream Webcam". When you connect it, all Logitech software picks it up as a "1080P Pro Stream Webcam". It looks like a C922, but doesn't come with a tripod, in which I believe the C922 comes with a mini tripod.
