I tried to buy premium app unlock on ebay for 60 bucks but they were unable and refunded me. So I flipped the phone on CL to a metro user for 150.

Was thinking that this would make a nice wifi phone.
I remember the j7 and z Max pro would unlock after 90 days. I guess they changed to 6 months.
And in doing that, the phone could work on any T-Mobile or AT&t provider, but it could not be used again on Metro, unless you sent a form in to get your phone reinstated into their system.

Do their phones still become unlocked after 90 days sitting in a drawer, like the zmax pro and galaxy J7 did?
